We’re in search of an experienced Systems Architect with Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, PowerShell and Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS administration.

Job Title: Azure/Microsoft 365 Consultant

Location: Frankfort, Kentucky 40601 (Remote)

Duration: Long-term Indefinite Contract.

Status: Remote

MUST HAVE skills:

Cabinet is seeking a Microsoft 365 Systems Architect with a strong background in Microsoft Azure. 

This candidate will also be responsible for developing new Microsoft 365 solutions and integrating applications/services at the enterprise, cabinet/agency, and user levels. 

This candidate will need to possess extensive experience and expertise with Microsoft 365 administration, developing business-driven solutions in Microsoft Azure/Microsoft 365 and incorporating applications and new technologies in Microsoft's cloud-based environment. 

Additionally, this candidate will need to possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in order to conduct training sessions and facilitate meetings related to Microsoft 365/Azure applications, services and features.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Providing administration and technical support for Microsoft 365 and Exchange 2016 for approximately 35K users
  • Managing multiple Microsoft 365 tenants (commercial and government instances) and Azure subscriptions (global admin and a subscription admin)
  • Providing training, conducting presentations, and leading focus groups on Office 365 applications, features, services, and emerging technologies to all levels of the organization
  • Providing technical expertise, leadership and guidance for new projects and initiatives
  • Providing expertise with managing hybrid environments (Exchange 2016 on-premise and Microsoft 365 tenant)
  • Managing and providing technical expertise for all Office 365 applications such as Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Office Web Apps, Security and Compliance, Stream, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Forms, Project Online, etc.
  • Providing administration and support for the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents)
  • Monitoring, reporting, and preparing for upcoming changes based on the Microsoft’s 365 roadmap
  • Supporting Azure AD Connect/ADFS
  • Evaluating, managing, and supporting Office 365 3rd party applications
  • Providing expertise in Exchange Admin Center (EAC) and Exchange PowerShell scripting/cmdlets
  • Managing and supporting SMTP relay solutions
  • Managing and supporting Secure Email Gateway (SEG) solutions
  • Extensive research, testing, troubleshooting and deployment background for developing and managing new solutions.
  • Managing O365 subscriptions, Azure subscriptions, Microsoft licensing and user management.
  • Providing remote technical assistance to customers via telephone, written correspondence, and remote desktop support sessions
  • Managing and supporting Microsoft Outlook, other email clients, and application configurations/protocols for Exchange and Exchange Online
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation related to configuration, troubleshoot guides, user guides, FAQs, etc.
  • Implementing and managing security-related services, procedures and protocols in accordance with enterprise standards, business requirements and best practices
  • Adhering to enterprise change management guidelines and procedures
  • Managing mass mailing applications such as GovDelivery and Constant Contact

  • Microsoft Server 2013-2019 administration – 3 years
